Show
Shows can take place outdoors on the streets, in theatres, on playing fields, or in community halls and can run between 15 mins and 50 mins long, with most running around 35 mins. All shows are self contained, which means that the artists don’t need you to provide sound systems or lights (although sometimes the event has these anyway). All shows would have a strong vein of humour and are family friendly. We have solo performers and double acts, non-verbal performances and shows with lots of banter, performers whose skills reach new heights to shows that take place at great height – well at least on 6 meter high free-standing aerial rigs.
Performance space required varies according to act but as guide you would need about 5 meters x 5 meters on flat, level ground plus space for an audience to gather. There is some flexibility in the case of slightly smaller spaces, if we know the space dimensions in advance. When booking a street theatre show you need to consider what is happening around the performance space, so you need to minimise any background noise such as road works, loud music, sound checks, and also avoid spaces near to busy traffic. Cabaret
These are high impact short performances mostly suited to indoor events. All are choreographed to music. Performers would need a dedicated performance space and we would check certain technical requirements with you in advance.
Cabaret ranges from spectacular aerial routines in silks, trapeze, Spanish web, corde lisse, & aerial hoop, to stunning acrobatic displays in contortion, doubles acrobatics & hand balancing, to mesmerising juggling and manipulation skills using balls, clubs, hats, cigar boxes, diabolo and contact ball.

Walkabout
Ambient, mobile performance which is interactive, can be 15 minutes up to 2 hours. Can be indoor or outdoor. Can be stilts, unicyclist, juggler, doubles acrobats, surreal, musical, puppet...
Meet and Greet is similar to walkabout but it is usually at the start of an event and can be based at an entrance to meet and greet guests as they arrive at an event or to entertain them just before the main event.
We also have a variety of themes, here are a few: Enchanted, Fairytale, Carnival, Maritime, Medieval, Victorian, Moulin Rouge, Glamorous, Autumnal, Halloween, Christmas, Fire & Ice.

Commissioning a Show
It is possible to create a completely new show – with sufficient budget and lead-in time to devise, direct, choreograph, costume and rehearse. Our most recent commission was for a 5 cast maritime themed street theatre show, with production and sound crew.

How to decide on what to book
Below is a series of questions that will help you to narrow down the choice of performers and help us advise you on which acts will work best for your event.
- Are you looking for a show, a particular act, or a walkabout performer, or a combination?
- What type of impact are you trying to make at your event?
- Do you want something dramatic, sophisticated, something that’s got the ‘Wow factor’? Or something that has your audience smiling and laughing?
- Are you looking for an ‘off the peg’ act/character or do you want to create/commission something specific for your event?
- Do you have a particular theme in mind?
- Who are the audience your event is aimed at?
- What size is the venue/location for the event?
- What height is the venue, if indoors?
- If the event is outdoors do you have a bad weather alternative?
- Are there parking, dressing room/ seating/ mirrors and access to the venue with a vehicle?
- What is your budget?
- What date is the event, where is the event and at what time is the event?
